“I’m praying for you!”

Today’s study brings together two important points. The first is that Satan actively targets people to tempt – ‘to sift you, as wheat’; and the second point is that Jesus is actively countering Satan’s actions. We know this from Jesus’ words, in the following verse – Luke 22:32 “But, I have prayed for you … that your faith may not fail.”

Jesus will never allow you to be tempted past what you can overcome by your faith.

The last few sentences of Selwyn’s study – should encourage everyone: “Are you feeling battered and beaten by the adverse circumstances of your life at the moment? Do you wonder where your next ounce of strength is coming from? Then listen … listen … your Saviour is interceding for you on the throne. He is praying for you. And by name!”
