We spend another day looking at the Trinity. Overall, I’m not that keen on Selwyn’s discussion of this doctrine – and, perhaps you can detect that from what I’ve been posting.

The only bit I like today, is his last sentence of the conclusion: “Thus we see that God is one, but also three in one: God above us, God among us, God within us. The Father in majesty, the Son in suffering (and saving), and the Spirit in striving. This is the central mystery of our most holy faith. Together, and with all our hearts, let us adore the great triune God.”
