Then one day I complained to God that He couldn’t really love me; if He did, I argued, He wouldn’t allow the things that were happening to me. He gave me no answer, but instead He showed me the cross. And I saw His Son dying there for me, the scales fell from my eyes, and I found love for Him flowing out of His love for me.”
If you ever feel that God does not love you then just stop and look at the cross. First, see yourself there dying for your sins; then see Jesus taking your place – a wonderful God, who created everything good – who did nothing wrong – but freely took upon Himself, your sins – and died for you. So that you could have eternal live – how will you respond to what He has done for you?
